faboo mama: Bitches Gone Wild: The Motrin Drama

Well maybe Motrin should have hired the Simpsons or Don Rickles to do their ad. I guess you can get away with insulting everybody but god forbid you might unintentionally insult one group.

Wow, I'm sorry I missed this one. I love it when advertising companies get it wrong and piss off a large chunk of their audience!

Thanks for saying what many of us were thinking. WTF indeed! There are real outrages in the world where people are being marginalized and brutalized in unspeakable ways. This was a whole to do about nothin much at all.

I saw the shitstorm and thought of the fires ravaging parts of SoCal, wondering why they couldn't put that much effort into maybe helping the fire victims.

    Woah.

Well, okay, for real, there are a lot more important things going on in the world that could use attention than a bad commercial. I mean, I agree with you and frankly this kind of lame media bullshit is the reason I don't watch TV. I never saw the ad or commented on it, having nothing to say and sort of wondering why people were putting so much attention and time into it.

I kinda also think there are better things to do than to publicly criticize people an entire group of women who "have too much time on their hands", when you mention checking into various social media all day long, and then took the time to write this post about what assholes those other women are.

    Sorry. That's what I see.

Checking in between bouts of productivity is vastly different than obsessing over a stupid ad. Even if I did sit on my ass all day in front of the computer, I would have been able to find at least one thing less dumb to consume my mind than an ad that wasn't offensive.
