After all he invaded a sovereign nation and forced regime change himself. Putin can argue that he too, like Bush, is merely defending Russian citizens and using force in order to do so.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I also found the comments of our British foreign secretary hypocritical. He accused Russia of 19th Century behavior by forcibly taking land. However Britain's continued occupation of The Falkland Islands and Gibralter is as about 19th century as you can get.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Russia has been an out of control thug for some time. Recent events are pretty much what one would expect from them. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The West however has lost much of the moral high ground which I find the saddest thing of all.
