GoAnimate Stereotypes

On FriendFeed, I learned of a new site called GoAnimate where you can create your own cartoons.  I liked it just watching what others made, but decided to get creative myself.

    It's shocking that the same people who are Obama maniacs are still very racist in lots of other ways. I think the stereotypes for the poc is insulting.

    I agree about the stereotypical characters. I was cringing watching the intro video on the site. On the plus side it does allow for uploading or importing images from flickr, etc. I use a site called http://stripgenerator.com to create comic strips. There the characters are all sort of strange and not caricatures. Thanks for the heads up on this, I will be trying it outu!

    Wow, you find the coolest things. And yuo get the most unusual comments from the oddist characters, like the one above accusing you of being racist? Very interesting, no, very weird.

    lol...BG, browne wasn't accusing me of being racist. i don't think. i think she saw the clip and assumed the makers of goanimate were pro-obama and didn't realize that i made that clip.

    as for finding cool things, i give props to friendfeed. all kinds of cool stuff there.

    The cartoon you did was awesome.

    The only black characters are a mail carrier, a thug and basketball player? That's bizarre enough to be funny, if it weren't so fucking lame.
