My youngest daughter is 19 now, and this was the first election where she voted. She asked me for advice — I hope I did it right, I told her I was voting for Obama and why, but also told her she had to make her decision. I don't know (and haven't asked) if she went with Obama or not, but she *did* say on Wed. that "people need to just chill and stop taking this so seriously - they won't get out of life alive anyway" about some of the "we're doomed"ers.

this really brought tears to my eyes as well. it seems a great many kids really responded to obama during the campaign.
