NBC still sucks

    I share your frustration with NBCs coverage of the Olympics. How silly to hold the opening ceremonies until 8pm on the West Coast ... causing us to stay up until midnight to view something that happened more than 12 hours earlier! With the technology available available today, this is simply shameful and unnecessary!

    Yes, and it's weird when they're going on about what happened "yesterday" when they edited it so that it was all in the same 5 hr. block. Silly.

    One word. Youtube.
    You can also google foreign tv for their live coverage streamed on the net.
    Added boner you don't as much of the fluff.

    I agree NBC has screwed it up over the last few years.

    Yes, I have been using foreign press, but I shouldn't have to, you know? I really have no idea what NBC is thinking about what countries deserve coverage. Take gymnastics last night, they showed the Russians, yet the commentators just went on and on about how Russia and France don't stand a chance to win a medal at all. Huh?

    Oh, then there's the simple oddness of who they decide to interview. In swimming last night, they did nothing to interview the winners of the heats for the prelims, instead they asked losers or the 2nd place winner questions.

    I started a public email protest here http://n2.nabble.com/NBC-Olympics-Coverage-Is-Bad-f733736.html - it allows you to send a public email to nbcolympicsfeedback@nbcuni.com. This is better than regular email which they can simply ignore. If a lot of people send them public emails, they will have to do something about it or they are just exposing their problems. Please help spread the word.
