    Sarah Palins' a joke if you ask me. I think she's shamed herself enough and should keep a low profile from now instead of thinking and behaving like a Diva.

    You nailed it. I was driving during the speech, so interesting to hear your blog/twitter analysis. From a female point of view, my wife made me turn it off half way through, she couldn't take it. And she is not necessarily a lifelong democrat.
    Since one day as governor gives you more "experience" than a senator, they also pretty much undercut McCains experience as well. Under their logic, any senator is pretty much worthless since they have no "executive" experience.
    Please tell me most American women are smart enough to see through this charade. This isn't just a bad pick from McCain, I think it's reckless and completely irresponsible.

    And the TV bubbleheads are blithering about whether her speech was a "home run" or a "hat trick" (being a hockey mom and all that BS).

    As I wrote on dKos, Palin is all about GOTPV (Get Out The Pharisee Voters) — they'll push away indies and all but the most delusional PUMAs, and hand the White House to Obama, but they'll shore up teetering House and Senate seats in red districts/states. The goplet plan is probably to hold the Senate closer than 60D/40R, obstruct anything and everything, and then come back in 2012 and say "he can't get the job done."

    'Course, if we get complacent, they could end up Diebolding the White House as well. Then we're ska-rewwed.

    Just to take the edge off for you, the best descriptor I saw tossed out so far was "caribou barbie". The visual behind that slam are entertaing at least.

    Diva Palin has been appearing on too many TV shows. I know what's good for her. She should audition for the next Wonder Woman series as the female lead.

    If the issue that she was mocking Obama is true. It's a pity for her, because the obama is the elected president by now. :)
